The O&M Three Step Method

Have you ever wondered why Salon blowouts last longer than your DIY efforts? No, it’s not just because your stylist has years of training and experience.

So much of our beauty routines rely on prep work. Exfoliating skin before self-tanning, prepping skin with a toner before serums. Hair is no different. Taking the time to effectively prep hair, and layering products will result in Salon quality styling from the comfort of your own home.

Allow us to let you in on a little industry secret, the O&M Three Step Method.

Step One - Hydrate

A long lasting style starts with plump, hydrated hair. While your hair is still wet, apply O&M Know Knott to detangle and add hydration at the same time.

Step Two - Foundation

Next, lay the foundation for your style on 70% dry or towel dried hair. Select the O&M product best suited for your hairstyle. Sleek and straight? Try PS Balm (formerly Project Sukuroi). Big, bold and Bouncy? Rootalicious or Atonic are your gals. Curly, textured or wavy? Style Guru or Surf Bomb have got you covered.

Step Three - Finish

The final step – set all that hydration and styling with your choice of finishing product. Choose between Original Queenie for flexible, firm hold and Desert Dry or Surf Bomb for lightweight texture. Top it all off with Frizzy Logic to eliminate frizz and lock in shine.

Of course nothing beats the luxury of a trip to the Salon and that fresh-from-the-chair, good (great!) hair feeling, but if you’re wanting to level up your at home efforts, it can be as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Let us know if you give it a go!
